E+ Pencil Drawing of the Warsau Ghetto and the #51 Muranów Trolley.

This incredibly detailed pencil drawing features 3 SS-SD or SS-SicherheitsDienst
(SS-Security Service aka Secret Service) Polizei officer's patrolling the streets of the Warsau Ghetto as Jewish "residents" and the #51 Muranów Trolley pass by. Most of the text in the lower right hand corner is illegible but I was able to identify "(Warsau Ghetto)" above what appears to be a short description or title followed by the artist's signature. It's difficult to say when it was done, or if the artist used a photograph as a reference, but it appears to be very old with some minor soil, wear, and damage such as subtle wrinkles or folds with a 1/2" (15mm) tear near the bottom left corner. As an artist who works in pencil I know for a fact the heavy weight manila stock is very old and the type of drawing paper that would have been available in the early to mid 20th century. Measures approximately 17" x 10.5" inches (43.5cm x 27cm)

NM+ Dachau Liberation Card

This one of a kind card celebrating the liberation of the infamous concentration/work camp in Dachau was hand crafted on a thick manilla stock using pen and ink and water colors. There's a short note inside but it's written in the old Sütterlin Schrift so the only word I can translate for you is the artist/author's name, "Rolf". Measures approximately 4" x 6" inches (10.5cm x 15.5cm) when closed.

NM SS Book "Waffenbruder Finnland" with dedication "Zur Erinnerung an dem Krieg in Finnland" (In Memory of the War in Finnland). Hand written dedication signed by SS Untersturmführer und Battalion Führer Constantine Heldmann, he held this position from Aug. 25 1942 to March 9 1944. The book itself is in great condition with a rarely seen signature. No text or illustrations on the cover. SS394 $195.00
E++ Large document grouping of Waffen SS Unterscharführer Otto Wurmdobler. This extraordinary collection includes many official SS documents as well as a large number of very personal pieces. Otto was a poet, song writer, musician, craftsman/artist, printer, etc.... His personal papers include three books of poetry, as well as 6 loose pages. There are four pages, 2 sided, with illustrated poems that were published in the SS newspaper Das Schwarze Korps, all of which show how talented and dedicated Otto was to his craft. Careful attention to detail in his calligraphy as well as the 8 illustrated works which appear to have mostly patriotic/military themes. There are letters to his wife, his SS wedding invitation, his Reichsmusikkammer (Reichs Music Board) ID book, a wonderful photo of his "band", and much more. Also included are 50+ war time SS files copied from the original records. Although I'm not fluent in German, I was able to find many references to Dachau, and was told he served in that camp. There are also many ORIGINAL war time, and post war documents. It appears that Otto was held and integrated in a Civilian Internment Camp as a war criminal from 1945 to 1948. Also included is his certificate of discharge. This appears to be a fairly complete collection of Otto's files and personal works. The grouping has been put together with great care and has been kept in near mint condition, all original pieces have been kept in vinyl keepers, an incredible find giving us a very complete look at this man and his service in the SS. M- Promotion Letter from Heinrich Himmler to the personnel office regarding the promotion of Dr. Arthur Gütt.
This short note reads:

Der Reichsführer-SS
Berlin, dated May 1st 1934
To the Personnel Office:
Dr. Gütt, SS-Sturmfürhrer (Lieutenant) in the Race and Resettlement Section is promoted to Obersturmbannführer (1st Lieutenant) with special assignment on the Staff of the Reichsfuehrer-SS and is dropped from the Race and Resettlement section.
Signed: "H. Himmler"

It's complete with an approval and filing stamp in the upper right hand corner and is signed by Himmler in his famous green pencil, a common practice for him as he did a lot of the day to day clerical work himself in the early days of the 3rd Reich.
Dr. Arthur Gütt was a medical Doctor. He was later promoted to a Brigadeführer in 1940 and wrote many books on Eugenics including "Handbuch der Erbkranken" (Handbook on Hereditary Illnesses) in 1940. This book was used against him at the Nuremburg trials as it dealt with euthanasia. A very significant document not only because of Himmler's signature, but also because it deals with the promotion of a significant figure of the Third Reich.

NM Partial "Approval Document" signed by Heinrich Himmler and Richard Hermann Hildebrandt.

This is only the lower portion of the document, the upper half was cut off. Dated and signed by
SS-Obergruppenführer und General der Polizei Hildebrandt on 3. Oktober 1944, and Reichsführer-SS Heinrich Himmler on 1.12.1944.

This an official approval to SS-General Richard Hermann Hildebrandt who was the chief of security within the Race and Resettlement Section of the SS . Himmler signed it on 1.12.1944 at his Field Headquarters as Hitler appointed him to be in charge of the Reserve Armed Forces of the Reich. This must have been something of importance, probably dealing with security issues of Ethnic Germans or the Jewish Problem(?)

He expresses his thanks for the package he got on April 11th then asks his "dear parents...please keep me in your thoughts." He describes what he's allowed to receive in the camp and makes mention of 20 Reichsmarks and a package he received from "illegible", then expresses his thanks.
